Friday Fictioneers – Skinny-dipping in the snow

PHOTO PROMPT © Robbie Cheadle

It had seemed such a good idea. A bottle of wine, a group of friends, a drive in the snow to the hot springs—what could go wrong? Skinny dipping—that’s what. Rob’s body’s better than mine, if you like the buff, chiseled look.

Everyone says I’m lucky. That means Lisa’s way out of my league. There’s going to be drinking, and horseplay, and then fooling around. And Lisa will rejoin her league.

“Hey, guys. I’ll go search for some wood and build a fire. It’ll be cold when we get out.”

Leadership. Yes, that’s the thing. Lisa respects initiative.

  1. Never have liked the buff chiseled look, personally! Great take on the prompt and a wise decision to fetch the firewood! In case this comes up as anonymous, it’s Clare Hempstead. It’s been so long since I have been here, I haven’t mastered the technology again yet!

  2. What he needs is a big dose of self-confidence because THAT is what a worthy potential mate will see above and beyond the ripped abs (which often come with an empty brain). Plus, going out to get the wood is a good way to go, too!

    Nicely done, Neil.
